Scale-up path

Prove two. Then copy them.

Each site is a 1 MW module that grows to 3 MW by adding stacks. Replication is a siting exercise, not a re-engineering one.

  1. Phase 1 · Years 1–3

Punjab and Odisha validate the model. 1 MW each, growing to 3 MW. Captive lines reach 25–35% of output.

  2. Phase 2 · Years 4–6

Optimise: carbon-fibre vessel transition, full fuel-cell backup, measured curves replace modelled ones.

  3. Phase 3 · Year 7+

Replicate to Rajasthan, Gujarat and Karnataka: five to seven additional sites.

What a site needs

  • Clean water access, ground or spring
  • 10 acres of land
  • Solar irradiance above 5 kWh/m²/day
  • An industrial cluster within 100 km
  • A suitable sister manufacturing opportunity: food processing, materials or chemicals

India has more than twenty-five such locations. The buildout potential is 50–75 MW of electrolyser capacity by 2035 — modelled, and dependent on Phase 1 doing what the model says it will.
